Summary:
Summary of Pierce Township Resolution 017-3
• Vendors must first register with the Township and receive a permit to solicit. The permit is valid for six months.
• The vendor may only solicit between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. (or 30 minutes after sunset, whichever is earlier).
• The vendor may NOT solicit at homes displaying a “DO NOT SOLICIT” sticker on or near the home’s front door. Stickers are available at the Township office for residents.
• The rules do not apply to school-related fundraisers, community athletic groups, or civic organizations.
