The Legendary Run Community Center Clubhouse

The Community Center, 3601 W. Legendary Run, has been recently remodeled The large overhead beams have been removed opening the view of a wonderful catherdral ceiling accented at each end with a large window and bountiful hanging baskets.  Three wicker fans complete the Carolina Beach House ambience.

The entire open area has been incresed due to the removal of the small office/conference room that previously occupied the left front corner. The TV has been moved from above the fireplace to its own alcove on the left wall.  The couches have been replaced by a small sitting area by the fireplace with chairs that can be easily moved to accomodate any function.

The brass lights are gone, replaced with small dimmable LED lights allowing one to create almost any mood. A large conference table fills the “new” front corner area, complete with 10 rolling, tilting and cushioned chairs – perfect for that community meeting.

The rest rooms have been painted and completed with new vanities and vanity lights.

A lovely, well appointed 1600 square foot open floor plan facility. Entering the front door your eyes are drawn along the cathedral ceiling to the rear wall of windows and French doors opening to a covered portico and the pool area. There is interior access to separate women’s and men’s restrooms, which also have outside access for pool guests.

 The Gathering Room features a conversation area with two sofas facing a gas fireplace. This well appointed room, with golf theme throughout, has three round tables each seating 4 and up to 8 with table extensions in place.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a standard sized stove and oven, microwave, full size refrigerator and large preparation area with serving bar, which is fully open towards the Pub Room. As most events are catered or food is brought from home, there are no pots, pans or silverware available.

The Pub is open with a three sided bar top. In addition to the handsome Legendary Run logo on the back bar, the many cabinets and under counter refrigerator, French doors open to the rear portico. Ice buckets and some barware are provided. The bar top and single pub table are home to 11 pub stools.

The Board area is appointed with conference table, chairs and desk. It also has a number of stackable chairs for use at larger functions and gatherings. The facility is an Internet hotspot providing open wireless access to the web.

Seating: 24 wooden chairs, 11 pub stools, 2 sofas, 6 stackable chairs, 6 conference room chairs, with additional folding chairs available.
